Granted, I scrapped it out on the phone with some new colleagues that day (our first "love spat") in 90 degree weather doing new business (work always comes first) on the phone outside w shotty cell service whilst my friends were in a temp controlled wine vat drinking grape juice and regailing about the last time they drank Pinot and the crazy that ensued (ahhh memories).
But hey! At least I got outta the house and got a little fresh air, right?! Lol...

OK...so of course I am in LOVE with Kathy! Griffin. It's true. She's 1 hot momma -- and friggin' funny as hell! Anyway -- she had one of her office assistants on her show (Episode 7) bc she found out on his MYSPACE PAGE he actually makes (pretty awesome) music...while going through and snooping on her office workers FACEBOOK pages -- bc she thought they didn't work enough -- they were actually on their FB pages the entire workday. So funny... Honestly, I could be in THE MOST FOUL (sp?? haha) MOOD and KATHY GRIFFIN totally CRACKS my sorry a$$ up and TURNS IT ALL AROUND, ppl!!
Well, directly following the episode I TWEETED "SPACE COPS" and THANKED Kathy for bringing COLE to my attention -- bc I HONESTLY thought he is/was REALLY talented. (Not kidding at all - I don't joke about this shizz!) And literally...I got a response! LOL. HOW AWESOME WAS THAT?!?!? (It's the little things, ppl...let me have this one! LOL.)

Subsequently, I emailed THE KATHY SHOW expressing how much I wanted to perform my new single with my dancers on her new SHOW -- and have COLE "SPIN" behind me...a la LADY GAGA and SPACE COWBOY in the early years...LOL.
But alas...I've gotten ZERO response. (At least there has been nothing yet...lol. Oh well...ya can't win 'em all...) It's all about BEING GRATEFUL for the little things, PEOPLE!!! WOOT!

NOW...I read on www.BreatheHeavy.com (well known #1 BS Fansite) that B's camp has leaked "The STEMS" (obviously bc they are COPYING my same idea for their OWN PROMOTION -- AGAIN!).
This, OF COURSE, is NOT the first time they have copied my marketing ideas for their own and used them...
I even PLANNED and WROTE my own MUSIC VIDEO TREATMENT and SCRIPT for "IN MY DREAMS" -- and wanted BRITNEY to do a CAMEO in it...and TWEETED her and all of the celebrities that I wanted in it...and TWEETED them the treatment. The video was a "DREAM IN A DREAM"... Well guess what??? They ripped me off there as well...LOL... (I'd POST the treatment -- but I don't feel like digging it up...)
In the case of "WhatsitgonnaB? (I'm So Ready)" (my MUSIC VIDEO from Fantastic Four 2: Rise of the Silver Surfer) and "Hold It Against Me" - Britney's FIRST release of her latest album "Femme Fatal" -- you see that BOTH INTROs are IDENTICAL. YES! IDENTICAL...
You see a COMET...SPEEDING towards earth through outter space , descending on the city...and exploding on the hitting it beginning the video and bringing you into the club...LOL... In BOTH VIDS...they are almost COMPLETELY IDENTICAL... I'm talking -- EXACTLY THE SAME!!! Coincidence...I DON'T THINK SO... It's TOTAL BULL$HIT.

But then again...that's what the major labels want. When all I REALLY WANTED was to "do my job"...

I know this is a total RANT -- and probably NO ONE WILL CARE or BELIEVE ME...but honestly...this blog is just a way for me to purge all the garage I fight and put up with on a daily basis in this THANKLESS music industry.
So thanks for putting up with the RANT and reading about it. The crappiest part about ALL OF IT is I am a HUGE BRITNEY FAN...have loved the girl's presence in the industry since day 1 and met her on more than one occassion at FRED SEGAL, the TEEN CHOICE AWARDS, and more... It's just, whatever level of "celebrity" you have...or in whatever capacity you actually work in "the industry" -- we are ALL VICTIM to garbage like this. There is NO ESCAPING IT.
I just wanted to get paid for my ideas...recognized for them and have a corporation like SONY to believe in me enough to put out my records -- etc. INSTEAD...they, like the other ones...took all of my ideas, press kits, literature, years of hard work and marketing ideas on my own project and applied them to THEIR OWN investments... You get the picture. There's really nothing more to say...but -- IT SUCKS.
The MORAL of the story people...is to PERSEVERE! (And pray that someday -- someone cares enough to give you, your ideas, and YOUR CAREER... a REAL -- chance.)
Never thought I would become something major corporations would "copy"...lol.

Look Familiar?? It should. I know
everyone in LAMBERT's camp -- and pitched my project to them BEFORE,
DURING and AFTER he won American idol. They strung me along to learn
all my dirty little secrets (even my "friends") and examine my own project (inside and out) -- to the point where
they could finally apply it to an investment they already had in their
hopper...Adam. It's pretty arrogant. Also pretty effing gross... I even confronted the dude who is behind all of Adam's efforts at the label/management company (who was supposedly my "friend"). He was also behind Christina Aguilera's project FOR YEARS. When confronted -- I think he typed (and I quote -- and I saved the email)..."Great minds think alike!" That's EXACTLY the same thing that was said to me after meeting Susan Markheim from Azoff (Christina's management)j...so that they would hopefully take MY PROJECT under their wing (see...that's how they do it -- they nuzzle up to you and become your BEST FRIEND...act interest...etc...)
Then...
Christina Aguilera's "BIONIC" album promotion began... All of her marketing, the music, everything -- was identical to what I WANTED TO RELEASE, had documented and had planned (and it also was EVERYTHING talked about in press for 3-4 years waiting for my own record to get picked up by a major).
And then there was someone else... Someone very VERY important -- who's been built up to be one of the biggest popstars (although totally bought and paid for and not really all that "talented") of today (that shall remain nameless for now...)
...this one I'll save for later -- when I have everyone's COMPLETE and UNDIVIDED ATTENTION. :)
